UV in Syrup Storage/ How it Works

Ultraviolet Lamp Monitoring The Watch Dog Monitoring System can be included for continuous metering of ultraviolet lamps. The enclosure is generally mounted directly onto the sterile conditioner or can be remotely located. In some cases, the Sterile Conditioner is mounted on the top of the tank. This requires climbing to get a lamp reading. Mounting the Watch Dog Monitoring System closer to the floor allows ease of observation on a daily basis. This system contains a meter, which reads ultraviolet intensity, not visible light. When the meter reads 60% or less, the lamp(s) must be changed out. This system also contains an "operational LED" (Safe) and "lamp change out LED" (Service). The Watchdog Monitoring System can be included as part of the initial fabrication of a Sterile Conditioner or it can be retrofitted in the field to an installed and operating system.

HEPA Filters- HEPA filters remove 99.97% of all airborne particles 0.3 microns and larger. High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor filters are used in areas where incoming air needs additional filtration. These filters are positioned between the pre- filter and blower. Various sizes are available. |

Rain Hood- For outdoor installations, a specially constructed rain hood is recommended for all Fuller sterile conditioners and air exhaust vents. The rain hood is designed to protect the filter inlet from inclement weather. |
| Heaters
and Thermostats-
Many liquid storage applications require the product to remain above ambient temperature. Strip heaters are ideal in heating the incoming air. Heat is introduced safely into the tank through the unit, and monitored with a thermostat. |
