The Refrigerator Mate is designed with state of the art technology including a 6 and 12 minute timer, electronic switches and memory for automatic shutoff. Four "C" batteries are required for regular or sporadic use for approximately 60 to 90 days operation.

The 6 minute mode is for spaces of 20 cu. ft. containing mild odors. For larger areas, and those with strong odors, the 12 minute selection can be used alternately with the 6 minute mode. Since odors are personally offensive, it can be customized for particular uses. Batteries are a source of variable voltage, when the voltage drops, the time delay will differ, but the function of the unit will remain unchanged. To achieve the most effective odor dispersal, the area being treated is best served if it kept sealed or closed for 30 to 40 minutes. Using the Refrigerator Mate every day or few days will ensure the most effective odor removal.
